SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) – a modern alternative to traditional telephone service, based on the connection protocol SIP, which enables telephone (digital voice) to the computer network technology VoIP (Voice over IP).

For SIP-telephony There are 4 ways to connect:

Another possibility – displaying the telephone number of the caller’s name and address on the display when you call. In a more complex version, when the phone is connected to a PC, the PC monitor can display the corresponding entry on the caller from the database.
PRI (Primary Rate Interface) – is standard interface ISDN network and the use of technology ISDN, PBX allows you to expand opportunities and create a multi-channel communication up to 30 channels simultaneously. ISDN PRI technology allows to increase the capacity of the PBX optimally implement internal communications or to ensure the work of call-center.

SIP Trunk– this phone line, supplied to you via an IP network over SIP protocol. Using the standard protocol, the telecommunications company connects to your PBX one or more voice channels. Phones that you appoint a telecommunications company, called DID (Direct Inward Dialing) numbers and can be assigned (“attach”) to the SIP trunks. In many countries of your existing phone numbers can be transferred to the DID and “attach” to the new SIP trunks.
